Volunteer
Since we do not have paid staff, we rely on volunteers for all our projects. Many of our projects can be done at home and on your own schedule.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help with essential tasks at LCCHA.
We need individuals to coordinate services with specific cemeteries
Preserve paper cemetery records by scanning and digitizing
Transcribe these images into searchable data bases
Volunteers can also assist with genealogical research
Create Find-a-Grave memorials
Contribute to writing, editing, and graphic design projects.

If you are passionate about history and community engagement, we invite you to join us in our mission!
Don't have time for a long term project? Here are some done-in-a-day opportunies
Participate in cemetery workdays and community cleanup efforts
Assist with veterans' events and memorials

Donate
Donations to the LCCHA go a long way! Our staff is made up entirely of volunteers, so 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes to services to preserve Lucas County cemeteries and burial records. We have no physical office, so we have very low overhead.
