The LCCHA is a group of volunteers that have a passion to improve the records of burials in Lucas County, Ohio, so that anyone
can easily locate a burial of interest to them. We are non-paid, non-profit, archival, cultural, historical and educational;
a class A82 organization that interprets, collects and preserves the historical heritage of this specific geographic location.

Whether you're an amateur or a pro, the Lucas County Cemeteries Historical Association (LCCHA) has an exciting opportunity
for you. Participate in the Lucas County Cemetery Photo Contest and help us showcase the beauty and rich history of cemeteries in Lucas County. Not only will you get a chance to explore
and capture these fascinating sites, but you could also win a grand prize of $300!

Volunteers are needed for an event on Saturday April 6th. The agenda is here. We are preparing for Memorial Day this year by putting stickers on the gravestones of veterans buried at Toledo
Memorial Park. If interested, contact davidweber@lccemetery.org.. Or just show up. We will have lists of veterans, maps of
the cemetery and gummed decals. A fun family friendly event. Young children will need a chaperone.

Call for Oral Presentations in Toledo..
The Lucas County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society is calling for oral presentations to be given at their chapter meetings, which meet monthly every 3rd Saturday at 2PM at
the Downtown Toledo Main Library. Presentation slots currently available are April thru November. If any interest, contact

The LCCHA is looking for a member interested in representing us and to attend this conference in Defiance, Ohio on Saturday
April 6th. The agenda is here. and this year the agenda is on "historic buildings" in this region. Breakfast and lunch is included, as well as a tour of
Auglaize Village Museum, if wanted, in the late afternoon. Whoever represents us would set up our standard display, which
we will provide to you, on a table there and answer any questions about LCCHA. LCCHA is paying for the entry fee, but not
